The West winds along the base of the foothills and the fairways are lined with natural high-desert vegetation, making for some magnificent views. This picturesque links-style golf course puts a premium on accuracy & shotmaking—a true risk and reward experience. Miss your target and the penalty is severe, but strike it true and the birdies fly. Strategically placed water hazards and dramatic elevation changes often require forced carries; the West is not for the faint of heart or the high-handicapper. We recommend this course for the intermediate and advanced players.
